Barn Dance (Message from Berry) Well Done NICDA

Glad to report that the total monies raised at the Barn Dance in aid of our Caledon event was £1,742.96!!!! Out of this total is £700 brought in from the Night at the Races so thanks to all the sponsors and punters placing their bets on their fancied fillies (both two and four legged! This money will be used to help with the costs of running Caledon, which is shaping up to be an extra-special event with entries already received from GB competitors including Horse Teams, Advanced Horse Pairs and Intermediate classes plus potential para-driving competitors. Many thanks to everyone who helped to make the Evening such a success!!”

On behalf of all members of NIDCA, can I express our sincere thanks to the Lyons family for their great hospitality in letting us use Jeffrey’s barn for our Country & Western Night. It was a brilliant night from the decorations in the barn, the tasty Cowboy supper served by Sara & Brian, the enjoyable and toe tapping music, the excellent entertainment provided by the Night at the  Races – with a Twist. Overall, a fabulous night made extra special by the efforts put in by so many. To see nearly 100 friends and families enjoying themselves as well as raising money for our Caledon event was simply fantastic.  Well Done everyone.  What a year this is going to be for NICDA!!!!!
Regards Berry (Club Secretary)

Great to know that £1,100 was raised for Syriaid.  Just proves NICDA is not only a great club for organising good sporting events but just as good at helping others and this weekend proved it.
