Craigantlet House Stables — Results and Pics…2015

Thanks to Christine and Alwyn for organising our second indoor/outdoor event on Saturday.  Another new venue and a great welcome from the management of Craigantlet Stables, Michelle Boyd and her family.  The weather was kind to us and although a chilly wind, the day remained dry.  Twelve competitors, including Dawn O’Donnell and Pete Noon who had travelled up from Wicklow and Louth, enjoyed a good run out and some testing obstacles.  A very close competition for the Open Pony class where Richard Logan, competing with a single pony for a change, narrowly beat Julie Ingram by a point!. Hopetoun Report and Results.

“Congratulations” to our club members; Dorothy, Jeffrey and Robert who travelled over to Hopetoun at the weekend.  On Friday all three were leading their respective classes after the dressage phase, Dorothy and Robert went on to win their marathons and Dorothy finished up first in the Advanced Horse class and achieved her qualifying score for eligibility for selection at the World Single Horse competition next year.  Well done  Dorothy, Sara and of course Boysie!  Unfortunately Jeffrey and Robert decided not to remain at Hopetoun for the cones phase due to uncertainty of the ferries on Sunday due to the high winds.
