Successful Christmas Party!!!
The quiz last night was fairly well attended. A total of 5 teams with approx 5/6 in a team. Quiz master was Robert McNeil who set a tough enough quiz. The winning team was “Give us a clue” Gordon B, Joyce B, Maureen, Jemma, Richard & TL.
After the quiz we had carriage racing with a difference! One member from each team raced in pairs & the quiz master stood in to even up the odd number. Horse & carriages made by John Goodwin ( 1x black & 1 x white) In the final was Leslie Mulholland & Richard Logan. Richard won by a short head. After the racing “gulleys gate team” served up the grub/very good. Heather Henning was presented with the encouragement shield as she was not able to attend the awards dinner last month.
Carriages headed for home about 11pm.
