Report on AGM by Berry McCrae Club Secretary

    Nearly 40 members of NICDA attended the recent AGM held at The Meadows Equestrian Centre, Lurgan on 2nd February, including two members of HSI who were welcomed and thanked for coming. Before commencing the business of the meeting, a minutes silence was observed in rememberance of Jerome McIntyre, Frank Hurrell and Jim McCoosh, three keen supporters of the club, who will be solely missed.
     The outgoing Chair, John Goodwin thanked the committee members for their support during his term of office and confirmed the past year had been very successful both in the number of events run and well supported. Sara Clinghan presented the Treasurers Report and an Income & Expenditure breakdown was circularised, this showed a slight increase in the bank balance and the Accounts were approved.

After some discussions regarding preference for 1 or 2-day competitions, the format of indoor events and an update on the All-Ireland Championship, the meeting was concluded and everyone enjoyed the opportunity to have a catch up over a light supper.
